Just opened in 2025, the new Zion Canyon Hot Springs brings a year-round hot spring oasis to southern Utah—the perfect activity after a mountain bike ride (there are a ton of great trails nearby) or a Zion hike (Zion National Park is just 25 minutes away). At Zion Canyon Hot Springs, you’ll find 50+ water features (including 32 natural geothermal pools), mineral-rich soaking options inspired by destinations around the world, cold plunges, saunas, and a roomy freshwater pool for families.

How to Get Here

The hot springs sit between the towns of La Verkin and Hurricane, Utah, about 20 miles (~24 minutes) from downtown St. George and ~25 minutes from Zion National Park—making it easy to pair with trail days, park sightseeing, or just a day of relaxation.

What to Expect

This modern complex blends southern Utah’s natural geothermal water with a lineup of different size and shape pools. The resort includes family areas with mineral pools and a large freshwater pool, plus an adults-only (21+) zone featuring additional mineral pools and “WorldSprings” experiences inspired by famous soaks around the world, like the Blue Lagoon and the Dead Sea. Rotate from hot pools to barrel saunas and cold plunges to help refresh sore muscles. Food and drinks are available on-site, so you can linger as long as you’d like.

Explore La Verkin

La Verkin is a charming, lively town, known as the gateway to Zion National Park. We think it's worth exploring before or after your soak! River Rock Roasting Company is a local favorite, offering incredible pastries, coffee, sandwiches, pizza, beer/wine, and more with cool views of the Virgin River below. You might also want to check out Confluence Park, which you can access from right behind River Rock Roasting Company. A steep path takes you to a new scenic trail that meanders along the Virgin River - a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the views.

Pair It With Your St. George Adventures
