1. Thunder Junction All Abilities Park

Kids of all ages will have a blast at Thunder Junction All Abilities Park, a delightful city owned park that features a dinosaur theme complete with wheelchair-accessible playground equipment, a climbing wall, splash pad and even an “erupting” volcano! One of the highlights is the C.P. Huntington trail ride, which is a quarter-scale train that travels along 2,700 feet of track! The park is situated inside Tonaquint Park at 1851 South Dixie Drive and is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm. Admission is free and train rides are just $1.00 per person!

2. St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site

Another one of the fun attractions in St. George Utah your kids will love is the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. Since most children are fascinated by dinosaurs, they will be mesmerized by the dinosaur footprints, fossils, working fossil preparation lab, and the 5 life-size models of prehistoric animals! All of the exhibits are self-guided so you are free to enjoy the museum at your own pace, and the entire facility is climate controlled for your comfort. 3. Pioneer Park

We are sure that your family is planning some hiking activities during your vacation in St. George, so start your trip with some of the kid-friendly hikes at Pioneer Park! There are numerous hiking trails to explore at this 52 acre community park, including trails that provide access to a Boy Scout Cave, historical pioneer cabin location, slot canyons, and a connection into the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve. The park is open from sunrise to 10 pm, so start your morning with a pleasant stroll or come in the evening to work off your dinner!

4. St. George Children’s Museum

The St. George Children’s Museum offers a unique opportunity for your kids to discover new worlds, participate in imaginative play, and create fun! There are 12 exhibit rooms that are designed to encourage interaction between children and adults, such as a magic castle room where kids can dress up in royal clothing, sit on a throne, or battle a dragon! Some of the other exhibits include a music room, art room, science discovery lab, sports and exercise area, desert discovery, and a transportation exhibit.
