Trying new restaurants and eating good food is one of the best parts of vacationing! You’ll find plenty of unique places to eat in St. George, and the food scene is one of the best things about visiting the area– there really is something for everyone! With new eateries, cafes, and restaurants popping up all of the time, we’ve made a list of a few that recently opened and have instantly become a “must-try”. Keep reading to find out what makes these new restaurants in St. George, Utah so special!

1. Cubby's

Who would have thought vegetarians and carnivores could have the same favorite restaurant? Cubby’s newest location has opened in St. George on Red Cliffs Drive and is known for its organic local produce, high-quality beef, and cage-free chicken. For meat lovers, the menu features fresh burgers, tri-tip steak sandwiches, and more, while vegetarians will love the hearty salads and bowls with the freshest ingredients. Their fries are also some of the best in town– choose from classic fries with rosemary, salt, and pepper, sweet potato fries with a maple dipping sauce, or the ultimate buffalo bleu cheese fries! Also, we highly recommend stopping in for breakfast that they only serve on Saturdays from 8 AM to 11 AM. The French toast and breakfast burritos in particular are a big hit with the locals!

2. Bundy's Brazilian Steakhouse

Bundy’s is one of the new restaurants in St. George, Utah that will blow you away! This Brazilian restaurant serves its food Rodizio style, like an all-you-can-eat buffet. The salad bar has smoked salmon, fresh dinner rolls, and an assortment of salad greens and toppings, along with fresh fruit and prepared salads like potato salad, 3 bean salad, and pasta salad. But their selection of meats is unmatched– enjoy lamb, chicken, steak, and pork prepared in a myriad of sauces and marinades. Sides include Yuka fries, Jasmine rice, mashed potatoes, and incredible Brazilian black beans!

3. The Smoked Taco

BBQ “meats” Mexican cuisine at The Smoked Taco! They smoke their own meats and create one-of-a-kind tacos you’ll be thinking about for days afterward! Some of our favorites are The Fleeting Californian tacos with tri-tip steak, cali sauce, roasted corn, pico de gallo, guac, cilantro, and Cojita cheese and The Banh Fire tacos with smoked chicken, sriracha mayo, daikon, pickled carrots, sweet Fresno peppers, and cilantro. Plus, this restaurant is conveniently located on St. George Boulevard so you can swing by Nielsen’s Frozen Custard after for a yummy dessert!

4. Soul Ramen & Noodles

Another of the must-try new restaurants in St. George, Utah is Soul Ramen. This noodle bar has anything and everything imaginable, from Katsu Curry and Doenjang Jjigae (Korean miso soup with kimchi, mushrooms, bean sprouts, green onion, and tofu) to Udon, rice noodles and endless ramen creations. For dessert, try their boba ice cream with flavors like ripe raspberry with chocolate chunks, strawberry cheesecake, coconut castaway, and more!

5. Maharaja Indian Cuisine

Located on St. George Boulevard, Maharaja is a new Indian restaurant with specialties like butter chicken, Tikka Masala, and Tandoori chicken. They make fresh naan bread, a coconut korma, and melt-in-your-mouth vegetable samosas. Also, they offer a lunch and dinner buffet option, and kids under 5 years old can eat for free!

6. Longhorn Steakhouse

Longhorn Steakhouse has arrived in the St. George area! A popular chain steakhouse, their menu features all your favorite combos, such as steak and shrimp, steak and lobster, and BBQ ribs and parmesan-crusted chicken. No matter your preferred cut of steak– filet, porterhouse, NY strip, ribeye, or t-bone– Longhorn has it all!
